HIGH SCHOOL: Attended Jackson County Central High School in Jackson, Minnesota • wore No. 4 for the Huskies and was coached by Tom Schuller • as a senior, named the Gatorade Player of the Year in Minnesota and Minnesota High School Player of the Year after throwing for 1,902 yards and 21 touchdowns and rushing for 1,893 yards and 30 touchdowns as team went 13-0 and won the Class AA state championship • accounted for more than 10,000 yards of offense in his prep career (5,581 passing, 4,434 rushing, 383 receiving) • holds school records for rushing yards in a season (1,893) and career (4,686), rushing touchdowns in a season (30) and career (65), passing yards (5,661) and touchdowns (58) in a career, and points in a season (208) and career (486) • won two state championships with the Huskies • all-state and all-district honoree • consensus four-star prospect and No. 2 player in the state of Minnesota • ranked by ESPN as the No. 278 recruit in the class • recognized by On3 as the No. 13 tight end in the country • also competed in basketball where he earned all-district honors • member of National Honors Society.

PERSONAL: Son of Tricia and Rodrick Voss • has one brother (Rudy) and one sister (Sadie) • brother, Rudy, played football at South Dakota State University • sister, Sadie, plays volleyball at the University of Sioux Falls.
