MICHIGAN: Played in all 13 games • kicked off 71 times (recorded 44 touchbacks) for 4,553 yards • made one tackle on kickoff coverage and also punted one time for 35 yards.

TEXAS STATE: Played in two games • recorded six touchbacks on eight kickoffs and made one point-after attempt • position coach was Daniel Da Prato, who is Minnesota’s Special Teams Coordinator.

PERSONAL: Son of Larry and Jennifer Sunderland • has one brother (Lawson) and one sister (McKenna) • uncle, Brandon Kornblue, played college football and was a kicker at Michigan • signed with FCS Cincinnati of Major League Soccer (MLS) as a keeper after graduating high school in 2020 and was on their first-team roster but did not see game action • was with Cincinnati from 2020-22 • competed with the U.S. Soccer Development Academy, making nine starts for U-16/17 team • trained with Espanyol’s Juvenil A – Under 19 team in Spain in 2021.
